Simulators

SOGITEC GENIUS is a reconfigurable, modular and immersive simulator for specialized and collective training of UAS crews. SOGITEC GENIUS addresses the needs of all civil and military UAS manufacturers and operators, from mini-drone up to MALE systems. SOGITEC GENIUS is light, generic, scalable, network-enabled and compliant with standards to immerse the crew, supervised by an instructor, in an air – maritime – land environment faithful to operational life. SOGITEC GENIUS relies on the core simulation, a common framework which allows more flexibility and interoperability (tactical and natural environment, audio, etc.)

SOGITEC HORUS is a mixed reality simulator for the initial and recurrent training of helicopter hoist operators and/or door gunners. SOGITEC HORUS tackles the needs of both civil (hoist operators) and military (hoist operators and door gunners) operators. With a scaled rear cabin and hoist and gun replicas, SOGITEC HORUS trains in mixed reality for hoisting, firing and multi-crew cooperation in a realistic virtual tactical environment. SOGITEC HORUS can be either networked, used in stand-alone mode or connected with a flight or mission simulator, for a full crew tactic training. SOGITEC HORUS relies on the core simulation, a common framework which allows more flexibility and interoperability (tactical and natural environment, audio, etc.)

FULL FLIGHT SIMULATORS (FFS)
FULL MISSION SIMULATORS (FMS)

Sogitec designs, manufactures and delivers state-of-the-art FFS and FMS devices allowing for all training: from ab initio & procedures training to complex recurrent tactical mission rehearsal.

Features : FFS & FMS feature real MMI, full scale cabin/cockpit and wide-ranging pilot visibility for full immersion. Highest fidelity of aircraft, sensors, NVG, helmet,… simulation is guaranteed within tactical situation environment as in a real engagement.

Flight & Navigation Procedures Trainers (FNPT)
Mission Simulators (MS)

Sogitec’s fixed- and rotary wing FNPT and MS devices are designed to meet all training curricula and provide our clients with maximum operational availability of their system at low acquisition and lifecycle costs.

Objectives & Features : MS & FNPT objectives are cockpit familiarization, procedures/reflexes acquisition and possible weapon system use. MMI, cockpit and environment fidelity fit the client’s (both civil & military) training requirements.

Multi-Role Training Device (MRTD)

Based on the NH90 flight loop, core & mission systems, Sogitec has developed and delivered MRTDs for very high fidelity simulation. MRTDs benefit from the same mission training capabilities as FFS.

Features : MRTDs feature real MMI, full scale cabin/cockpit – including Dynamic Motion Seats – and a high-performance visual system. Complex dynamic weather and tactical conditions are managed via the IOS.

REAR-CABIN TRAINER (RCT)

Either in stand-alone mode or MRTD-networked, the RCT is the perfect tool for Navy helicopter rear-cabin sensor operator, as well as comined TACCO – SENSO, operational training.

Features : RCT and MRTD-RCT cover all Navy mission training needs: ASW, ASuW, MEDEVAC, SAR, CSAR,... All states of sonar can be operated from the SENSO console replica, with full EWS and L11 simulation.

UNIT-LEVEL TRAINER (ULT)

ULTs are small-footprint fixed-based light training devices for procedures learning and rehearsal at the unit/squadron level. They provide MMI, HOTAS & WDNS procedures training.

Features : ULTs feature simplified cockpits with touch-screen MMI & switches, flat-screen OTW display and representative HOTAS replica. ULTs include an FMS simulation core and rich tactical capabilities.

Training centers

Sogitec’s Training Centers are designed as comprehensive turnkey solutions. They combine several simulation & training devices and all associated administrative services within a single larger training facility. Centers are aimed at all training phases, from initial procedures training to collective missions carried on in complex virtual tactical environments.

Full Services

Several training modes are available: stand-alone (1 sim), collective (2 or more sims), and distant (2 or more networked training centers). This comes with full services : courseware, instructors, maintenance, building and total care,… Sogitec Training Centers are already operational in France (Navy and Air Force Rafale Simulation Centers), UAE (Mirage 2000-9 Training Center),…

Networked Simulation

Today’s warfighters’ need for complex realistic training missions require the use of networked live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) simulation training capabilities. Whether for local or distant service, inter-service, and coalition mission training, Sogitec provides Armed Forces with a full set of computer generated forces (CGF) and networking technologies (HLA, DIS,…).

Apogée™ 8

Apogée™ 8 is the newest version of Sogitec’s successful Apogée™ high performance image generators’ series for fixed- and rotary wing aircraft simulation & training.

Features : Apogée™ 8’s core features fine classification of terrain nature with increased details , specific aircraft effects, very fine altimetry, highly realistic sea environment, and extended 3D weather simulation.

Apogée™ image generators are in service within all Sogitec –manufactured simulators and also successfully serves 3rd-party products such as Eurofighter Typhoon and UAE F-16 simulators.

Sindbad™ 3-EX

Sindbad™ 3-EX is a high-performance tool for terrain database and 3D models generation for display systems. Its performances and automated capabilities allow for quick highly productive large database creation.

Features : Sindbad™ 3-EX features classification/registration of terrain imagery for rich scenes, even on generic terrain. Sindbad manages fine altimetry to display all real terrain discontinuities.

References : Sogitec produces and delivers full databases to its clients. Our simulators come with Sindbad™ for end-users to be fully autonomous, create, and manage their own databases.

Displays

No efficient training is achieved without full visual immersion. As image specialists, Sogitec delivers display systems implementing its own technologies as well as COTS products from 3rd-party OEM.

Features : Sogitec offers a broad range of screens : monitors, cylindrical, facetted (SAFIR™), domes, rear-projected. All our displays are delivered with a fine choice of projectors for low lifecycle costs.
